Visa Application for International Visitors

Attendees who are not US citizens or green card holders will have to apply for a US visa to travel to the country. For visa application information, please visit http://travel.state.gov

How Do I Apply For a Visa?

The visa application most often includes an interview. At your visa interview, you should demonstrate you are traveling to the United States on business for a limited time, not as an immigrant. Your interview may require the following documentation:

  • An official letter of invitation from 2016 UCHTIF + EB5 Projects Show (available by request),  confirmation of 2016 UCHTIF registration, and your hotel reservation
  • Your itinerary which shows you plan to stay for a specific and limited time
  • Bank account statements which prove you have enough money to cover expenses
  • Proof of residency in your home country
  • Evidence of employment and community ties such as a copy of your marriage license

 Letter of Invitation

We can provide you an official letter of invitation after you register, which you should include in your application and bring to your visa interview.

Invitation requests must be received no later than 8 weeks prior to the 2016 UCHTIF+EB5 Project Show opening. Invitation processing takes approximately 5 - 7 business days after your request to process. If you didn’t input your invitation data when you were making conference registration, you can send us an email: info@uschinaforums.com to request it.
